Here is the rather glorious vinyl copy of The Hills Have Amps - Heavy Metal from Northwest Arkansas. It features the mighty death metal veterans, Vore, Black Metal face-melters, Hymns, Swamp-sludge masters, Deadeye Jack, Weirdo four-track core, Ogham, Haunted Doom Wizards, Dragon Sunday and Lightbulb Detective Agency, natch. Check out the images to get an idea of how this beautiful record turned out. The cover and additional illustrations were made by The High Priest of Creep, Preston Graves. The vinyl is splattered as well as two-color mush (two separate processes) using colors from the album cover. Lots of attention to detail went into this album and we all think it shows. The vinyl edition contains a download card for a complete digital version of the entire album. This record was released by a local artist initiative called Art Amiss and all proceeds from the sale of this record go directly to them and help support local artists and musicians. Everyone wins!
